Online software that allows users to upload audio files or generate them with text-to-speech technology. Once uploaded, users can generate audio player embeds for their website or QR codes for print media.
Text and images are all very standard for websites and print collateral, but we were interested in exploring the opportunity to allow users the ability to easily embed rich media in their products. Practical applications included multilingual translations and detailed explanations.
Engage users by adding audio to your website, blog, or print project!
Out of all of PSPINC’s products, Click It Audio is meant to be a bit more casual and playful than many of the others. As such, when designing the branding I chose a more playful font. The cursive style is meant to be more casual and less business than some of the other business tools offered by PSPINC.
The headphones icon is equal parts practical and brand recognition. We needed to have an emblem that was identifiable as Click It Audio. The same visual is meant to be the audio player icon itself the end user interacts with.
When the idea was brought up we needed a proof of concept to see how it would actually function. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript I created a static prototype that I tested across multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices.
Once it was deemed a viable product through user and internal testing I was tasked with creating end-to-end wireframes of how a user would sign up for a basic free plan as well as upload and embed their audio players.
As we continued to see creative methods in which users would use Click It Audio for their business cards posters, websites, and blogs - we identified new features to further enhance the experience.
Over time we released customization options for the audio player and text-to-speech functionality. We are continuing to evolve the product and facilitate partnerships with other businesses in the audio production industry.
I am extremely proud of the work done on Pilot. It was an opportunity to come up with an idea to grow our business and spearhead its design and development. I was able to lead a team not just of Designers, but of Developers, Engineers, and Software Testers.
